David Bohm (1917-1992) was a renowned physicist and theorist who was one of the most original thinkers of the twentieth century. On Creativity, a collection of his essays, is one book that I find myself frequently referencing in my work. This quote caught my attention recently:
Developing new ways of thinking require people to step outside of their preconceived notions about how things should be.
Real creativity is derived from deep seeing. It transcends the standards and processes that define most people's personal and business lives. Time and patience are required to uncover true meaning.
