I see this pattern a lot:

High effort. Low satisfaction. Talented people grinding through roles that don’t fit how they actually think, process, or operate.

And on the flip side:

Low effort. High satisfaction. People in roles that click, where the work flows, but they start questioning if they’re doing “enough.”

We try to fix it the only way we’ve been taught: Add skills. Work harder. Optimize performance.

But this isn’t a just-add-water problem.

You can’t outwork a mismatch.
