I’ve taken a long way, the short way, and the roundabout way with a few stops. Sometimes I use a car’s navigation system to help get me there and other times I’ll feel my way through it.
The most unexpected things can happen when you start walking, driving, or navigating intuitively. You might run into someone you haven’t seen in a while, you may see a client you’ve been trying to reach, or a parking spot may open up in front of you just as you need it.
One way isn’t necessarily better than the other, it just depends on what you trying to do or how fast you need to get there. Leaving yourself open to the unexpected can create meaningful connections that you didn’t otherwise expect to happen.
Try turning off your computer every once in a while and getting out to experience life without a machine telling you where to go. You may find a few treasures along the way.
