Mapping the unknown can be like trying to find your way around in the dark.
Where do you start?
I use my senses to get oriented and then I try to make sense of what’s around me in ever-increasing circles away from me.
I might pick up a sound here, a flicker of light over there, or perhaps a scent riding a gentle breeze that may be gone in an instant. My mind starts making connections and a mental image begins to take shape that may give me a sense of where I am or what I should be doing. How you choose to respond depends on your life experiences.
As you take the first step, and then the next, the conditions will change and you will become aware of new information. This data can be overwhelming, but it can serve as vital feedback as you chart your course to get to what’s next. A path will emerge once you determine what you need to do.
